There is nothing better than feeling relaxed and carefree with, no stress. If you are new to yoga, it is a need to know the basic yoga relaxation requirements.
Ever heard of the expression, “fight or flight”? Well, you might not think the expression is related to yoga relaxation. Guess what. It is. We’ve all been nervous at some time or another.
Here is what yoga relaxation can do for you after you have enacted yoga to calm you deeply within.
You will be able to think more clearly and your concentration will be improved.
You will feel yourself becoming more calmer.
Your body’s functions like your heart rate and blood pressure will improve by lowering.
You will be in less pain.
You will have a better night’s sleep after you do yoga.
Your adrenal system will reduce and you will feel at peace
Switch off, slow down and regain control of your life
It is recommended that anyone practicing yoga should wear comfortable clothing. Another recommendation is that practitioners should rest their body in a comfortable position and that you set aside a time and to do the exercises in a quiet environment.
A lot of people do their yoga exercises at home which has led to an alleged disease known as Coach Potato Syndrome. What this ‘disease’ basically is, is sheer laziness. Which is not good for anyone, especially during yoga workouts. Laziness is not good and is known to make the practitioner (should it occur) to be more rigid.
During a yoga relaxation session, it is best to lie down on a flat surface like the floor or a bed. Be sure to keep your arms close to your body with the backs of your hands touching your chosen surface. Ensure that your legs are straight and relaxed.
Another secret that we can award upon that while doing yoga, you must be aware of every movement. Be sure to observe each part of your body. Start from the top of your head and work down to your toes. By doing this, you will become aware of every sensation of the exercise.
The sensation within your body will disappear and you will feel your body just float. Maybe you find you have tension in your body and it feels as though it has its own pulse. You will find that if you have a lot of tension, you will be able to observe and remove the tension from your body. The more you relax the softness and freedom will come. Sounds to good to be true!
